Nike Mercurial Safari Has Just Arrived
Nike has just launched another Mercurial line which includes Superfly 8 and Vapor 14, and they come by the name ‘Safari’. This is an update of the iconic print for the modern look set to shimmer on the Champions League’s pitches.
Just in time for the Champions League Quarter-Finals second leg, Nike roll out their trusted Volt colour palette and deliver a boot that will be worn by any Mercurial player left in the Champions League knockout stages, so you can expect to see it on the pitch tonight.
In the past, Cristiano Ronaldo would exclusively switch into Safari releases, but Nike has now opted for a group mentality by dishing out the design to all of their elite level players in Europe’s showpiece club event. The other significant factor about this design is that it transforms under light; whether it’s a camera flash or the floodlights above, the Safari pattern is designed to light up when in direct contact with a powerful light.
So we cant wait to see that feature, and we hope we can see it in the coming Champions League games.
